God calls both men and women to the ministry. Ordination is merely a human recognition that God has called and gifted a person. (AA 161) “Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit.” (Acts 2:18) "The Holy Spirit ... prepares workers, both men and women, to become pastors." (6T 322) “There is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal. 3:28) “The secret of unity is … equality of believers in Christ.” (1SM 259)
Serving God While Serving the Church
